Three years ago, in April 2015, affiliates of The Chertoff Group acquired a majority stake in Delta Risk LLC. Founded in 2007, Delta Risk provides cyber security services to commercial and government clients worldwide. Delta Risk's service offerings include managed security services, cloud access monitoring, security and technical training, compromise assessments, and tabletop exercises.
Over the course of the past three years, Delta Risk has grown successfully and expanded strategically to be a stronger, more capable, and highly differentiated provider of cybersecurity services and solutions. The Chertoff Group supported the strategic growth of the Company and its team by providing growth capital.
In July 2016, Delta Risk acquired Allied InfoSecurity. This strategic acquisition brought complementary skillsets to expand Delta Risk’s managed security services capabilities, along with expertise in the healthcare market.
In 2017 the company completed a successful growth capital financing to support strategic investments in its capabilities, staff, and sales and marketing activities. The company expanded its service offerings to include ActiveEye and ActiveCAM. These proprietary technologies allow the Delta Risk team to assist clients by delivering security at the speed of business. ActiveEye offers network-layer and cloud-service security, on or off an organizational network, for all devices (including mobile). ActiveCAM focuses on the most critical area of cloud security: access control. The Delta Risk team has built a practice around a holistic and proactive approach to security practices that enables their clients to protect business operations.
For the second consecutive year, Delta Risk was recognized as one of the “Top 10 Managed Security Service Providers” by Enterprise Security Magazine. Additionally, Delta Risk CEO, Scott Kaine, has been featured in CIO Applications Magazine for the second year running. In April 2018, the Texas Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an official office of the U.S. Department of Defense, recognized the company with the prestigious Pro Patria Award in the Small Business Category.
“We are excited to be a partner to the outstanding leadership team and staff at Delta Risk, supporting the company’s continuing strategic growth,” said David Leach, Board Member of Delta Risk and a Principal at The Chertoff Group. “Delta Risk is strategically positioned for the major growth themes in cybersecurity: outsourcing of managed security services to third-party experts and providing security for companies’ migration of applications and operating environments into the cloud.”
