MacKenzie Lang is a Director in the Federal Strategy practice where she helps companies accelerate growth by expanding their federal footprint. She is a seasoned leader with a diverse professional background spanning both the federal and commercial sectors.

Before joining The Chertoff Group, Ms. Lang led global supply chain procurement at Wayfair. In this position, she partnered with senior leadership to establish strategic priorities and savings metrics aligned with company financial goals and network requirements. She is a seasoned negotiator and relationship manager having led several high-profile vendor negotiations on behalf of the company yielding substantial savings over her tenure. Her experience included a strategic overhaul of Wayfair’s cost savings initiatives for facility services, capital expenditures, and consumables, which reduced spend in some categories by up to 60 percent.
Prior to Wayfair, Ms. Lang was a Manager at Deloitte Consulting LLP supporting Department of Homeland Security components, with a focus on the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). While with Deloitte, she specialized in requirements modeling, budget forecasting, and resource allocation and optimization. Ms. Lang also has extensive knowledge of the federal acquisition and deployment lifecycle, from risk-based acquisition planning and strategic sourcing to equipment deployment and sustainment. Her areas of subject matter expertise also include corporate strategy and business development.
